Today you may have received an email saying that your account has been approved on this forum even though you’ve already had an account here and possibly been using it to post messages etc.
We are about to open up Runbox 7 and the forum to more customers, and we are going to allow the forum to be open to people to sign up themselves and then have their account approved. In the past you’ve had to receive an invitation from us.
To make this work we had to remove the restriction stopping people signing up and then put in place an approval process. When you do this with this forum software (Discourse), it revokes access to all existing accounts which then need to be approved. So rather than assume existing accounts have approval and mark them as such, it assumed all accounts now need approval. We’ve approved all existing accounts, and that is why you were sent a notification.
