Hi Dave,
On the attached image it shows my trash folder with the synchronization turned off. I check the one item in trash and click on the trash icon on the right, but nothing happens. If I turn synchronization back on then the same steps delete that one item. I am using Chrome browser 69 on a Windows 7 machine. (Also, an “empty trash” icon would make more sense since the trash icon is labeled “Move to Trash” but I am already in the trash folder.)
