GUI Wonky?

When I’m using my iPad to work on mail I’ve noticed this issue for quite sometime now and I mean for over a year or more. The issue is for example if I am composing an email and go to send it the process of tapping “send” doesn’t work because it seems the process of tapping no longer lines up with the underlying “send” function. In this case in order to send the mail I must totally back out of RB7 log back in and then open the mail in the Que, the mail will then launch using the send button. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Continuing the discussion from GUI Wonky?:

So it’s been a year now since I’ve reported this issue. I’m using an iPad Pro 11 with latest iOS, no other app I’m using exhibits this abnormal behavior. It’s as if the underlying template on the touch screen is not stable?? Am I the only one seeing this behavior?

Hello @K3TWL and thanks for your message – and apologies for this belated reply.

We have tested this on an iPad (mini) running iOS 17.4.1 and haven’t been able to reproduce this issue yet.

Presumably the Send button doesn’t work on subsequent attempts without logging back out or reloading the app, but do the other buttons work as expected?

Thanks again!

Your correct when you say that I have to close the app and restart to then proceed with the email whether to continue writing or sending. To answer your question no, none of the buttons respond as they should, tapping a button will result in an action far from the intended action. The only thing you can do is abort the app and reload. Very frustrating. Thanks for looking into this issue.

Hello,

To fix this, try updating your iPad and Mail app, restarting your device, checking for app updates, resetting Mail settings; testing alternative email apps, or contacting support for further assistance.

Hope it helps ! :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks for taking the time to share your tips and tricks. I am however still in a place where i am awaiting Runbox to address the issue.
