Importing email from Protonmail (mbox files)

I’m currently using Protonmail and decided to give Runbox a try (2 weeks into trial). I’ve connected two of my domains, but I’m wondering how to go about importing email from Protonmail. The Protonmail Import Export tool exports mailboxes as “mbox” files. Is it possible to import these to Runbox?

I know that Runbox can import from IMAP, but I don’t think you can directly import ‘mbox’ files.

You could probably do this in Thunderbird, using the ‘ImportExportTools’ add-on.
