Please see images below. The messages are all there. Only the counts seems to be out of sync.

Do the folder counts correct themselves by reloading the app? If not, can you try to remove the local index (in the bottom left corner)?
The index should then remain correct and synchronized.

I can stop and start the sync and the count will be fine. It actually also resolved by itself. The error happened when I read a new mail and the syncing is still ongoing. The new mail is marked read but it was not updated on the search index causing the discrepancy.
