am a runbox.com user…need a replacement for outllook have approx 2000 contacts, all with general fields, most have detail fields, and a bunch have all fields info plus they have notes…want to move it all to my outlook replacement…any suggestions? Thank you…b3
The most common email replacement for Outlook is Thunderbird. You don’t seem to feel you have a problem with email, but rather contacts. Here is Microsoft’s information regarding exporting contacts.
Once you have a csv file, most of your information should probably come over. I’d do a couple test runs with smaller samples to make sure you have your conversion right.
Thunderbird does handle contacts and calendar.
I personally use Essential Pim which works for me.
Em Client is also a good choice.
Any of these three should be able to handle your email and contact import.
