Suggestions: tab title and sound

Many email clients show the number of unread emails in the tab title (as does R6). It would be nice for R7.
Also playing a sound (as an option) would be nice as well.

I’ve added the suggestion to show the number of unread messages in the browser title bar as issue #883 in our issue tracker.

We’ll discuss options for sound alerts as well. :slight_smile:

In my latest versions of Mac OSX 10.14.0, RB7 2018-11-12, and Firefox 63.0.1, I am getting a desktop notification when there is new mail. It is accompanied by a sound, so that may satisfy the sound alert, at least for that combination of software :slight_smile:

I second this. It would be very nice to see the unread message count in the title bar.
